SIT n EAT is a website portal which allows you to place a food order from over 100+ restaurants in Kolhapur. In short, SIT n EAT is a solution for all those who are starving & want to enjoy a food a click away!

i. Search for Area/cuisine/restaurant
ii. Click on to specific restaurant
iii. Place your order
iv. Make a payment

3. How do I register to a SIT n EAT?
Just click on signup button and provide us your details such as Name, Address, Mob. No.etc. and you will be a registered user of Sit’n’Eat.
4. Do I need to pay extra to use this site?Is there any membership fee when I sign up for a SIT n EAT account?
No not at all. You do not need to pay anything for using this site. And there will never ever be any membership fee for SIT n EAT.
5. Can I use your services if I don’t have Internet access?
Yes, we are glad to provide you with phone support.You can call our customer care service at 8180959797 but be assured that if you order online we can process your order more efficiently.
6. Why online ordering if I can place order via phone?
Online ordering has several advantages compared to telephone ordering.
• You will not receive any busy signal, you will not be put on hold, and
• Your order will be send to the restaurant exactly the way you have ordered.
• You can see the entire menu online instead of asking the restaurant to speak out the entire menu to you.
• It’s much easier to inform restaurants about long and extensive orders online than over the phone to avoid mistakes.
• You would be able to choose from a wide array of restaurants and make informed decisions about the restaurants using user ratings and by reading reviews about them.
• Finally, you can place advance orders and forget about them and they'll be delivered at your doorstep.
7. Why should I register to SIT n EAT? Any advantages while placing my order? I mean do I have to be a member to use this service?
There are many advantages of being a registered user. To list a few of them:
• Every time an order is placed you earn reward points. These reward points can be redeemed for free gifts.
• You can save your address for delivery to enable faster ordering the next time.
• Features like One click ordering and saving of favorite restaurants require you to be signed in.
There are many more advantages... register with us and discover them.
You can also use this service as a guest user.
8. How to pay for the food I order?
We offer both online payments via credit/debit cards and also cash on delivery. The food that you order will be delivered to your address along with the bill. In case of cash on delivery, you can pay the amount directly to the delivery boy. But card payment facility is for selected restaurants only.
9. Do I need to give my phone numbers? Why?
Phone number is mandatory for us so that the restaurant can call you to confirm or clarify your order or address. Also, in case something that you have ordered is not available or if the order is going to be delayed under some circumstances, we can let you know over the phone. So please provide us with a number where you would be available (preferably your cell phone number).
10. What sort of restaurants do you have under your services?
We have a wide variety of culinary selections you will be spoilt for choice.
11. How about ordering beverages from SIT n EAT portal?
You can check the online menus under the respective restaurants for their beverage list.
12. How do I know if my order got through?
You will receive a confirmation email from us, stating the orders you have selected and the time it will take to be delivered to you. We will also send you a SMS to keep you updated once the restaurant has confirmed your order.
13. How can I track my food?
Sit’n’Eat is only responsible for forwarding the orders to the restaurants and has no control over the actual delivery. However we will do all we can to help you; you can contact our customer care department who will investigate on your behalf.
14. Can I customise orders from a list of restaurants?
You can order from more than one restaurant but unfortunately you are unable to combine the orders. Each order must be made and paid for separately.
15. What about delivery time? Is it guaranteed? If the delivery is late, do I get some discount?
Delivery time will depend on the restaurant you are ordering from, and it will be duly communicated to you when you place the order. SIT n EATis only responsible for forwarding the orders to the restaurants and has no control over the actual delivery. However we will do all we can to help you; you can contact us and we can contact the restaurant on your behalf as soon as possible to investigate. Give us a call and we will try to help you out.
16. Will there be any extra delivery charges? If yes, how much?
This depends on the respective restaurants. Usually the ones closer to you will deliver for free. If the restaurant has to drive a long way to bring you the food, they normally charge a little extra for the service.
17. What should I do if there is any problem with my order? How do I cancel my order?
If you received delivery and there appears to be a problem with your order, please contact the restaurant directly for an immediate resolution.
18. What if I don’t receive any order confirmation? Did my order get through?

19. The food I ordered is not so good & tasty. Do I get a refund?
SIT n EAT is only responsible for forwarding the orders to the restaurants and has no control over the actual delivery. However we will do all we can to help you; you can contact our customer care department who will investigate on your behalf.
20. What if I’d paid by card & my food wasn’t delivered? Can I have a refund?
You definitely can, just get your order number ready (or your order details such as the restaurant name and the time you placed the order at). Give us a call at 8180959797 or put in a mail at contactus@sitneat.in.After we have confirmed with the restaurant that the order was not delivered, we will refund your money within 7 working days to your account.
21. What if no one is at home when the deliveryman comes by? Will they redeliver?
You will receive a confirmation email and a SMS from us, stating the delivery time of your order so you will be able to arrange for someone to be home when the deliveryman comes by. Unfortunately, redelivery is not possible.
22. Can I gift the food from abroad (any place) to my hometown?
Yes you can, you can surprise your loved ones on occasions that matter to you the most. All you have to do is, to order from a restaurant of your choice in your home town/locality and place the order. Please note that payment for such orders can be done only via card.
23. Can I suggest for a particular restaurant near to me? How?
It is always a great pleasure to list more restaurants through near you.
